Dr. Louie Al-Faraje, DDS, is the founder and director of the California Implant Institute, which conducts a one-year fellowship program in implant dentistry. Since 2001, more than 1,000 dentists from 20 countries have received training at the Institute. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. Dr Al-Faraje is the author of 3 Quintessence textbooks and is on the editorial board of the journal of oral implontology (JOI).

Dr. Chung Dongkeun graduated from and later acquired his doctorate from the Dental College of Busan National University, Korea. After teaching at his alma mater and the Kyungnam College of Information & Technology as an adjunct professor, Dr. Dongkeun served as the Department Head of Dentistry at the Kwanghye Spine Center. He currently holds many reputable positions such as the Chair of the Equipment Committee in the ICOI Congress of Implantology, the Director of the Korean Academy of Osseointegration, and so on. He is the Chief Technology Officer of DIO.

Dr. Scott D. Ganz graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry - New Jersey Dental School. He completed a three-year specialty program in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Ganz was exposed to head and neck reconstruction, fabricating both intra-oral and extra-oral prostheses such as eyes, ears, noses, etc. This was followed by 25 years clinical experience, both surgical and restorative phases.

Dr. Jovanovic graduated dental school from the University of Amsterdam, Netherland (ACTA). He was formally trained in periodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry, in Implant Dentistry at the Loma Linda University of California, and in prosthodontics at the University of Aachen, Germany. He also holds a Master of Sciences degree in Oral Biology from UCLA. Since 1990 he resides in Los Angeles and has trained thousands of dentists worldwide in the art and science of implant dentistry, bone and soft tissue grafting and his esthetic protocols. He is past-president of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), past co-director of the UCLA Dental Implant Center and Founder/Academic Chairman of the gIDE Institute.

Dr. Kan completed Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry (LLUSD). He is currently a Professor in LLUSD and maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery. Dr. Kan is on the Editorial Board of the Practical Periodontics & Aesthetic Dentistry and the European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry. His honors include the Best Research Award from the Academy of Osseointegration, the Judson Hinckey Award from the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Robert James Achievement Award.

Along with his DDS, Dr. Dwayne Karateew holds Certificates in both Periodontics and Fixed Prosthodontics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is very experienced with implant and aesthetic dentistry and currently maintains a boutique style practice in Vancouver, Canada. He has presented his original material at both national and international congresses, and is a Clinical Researcher and Advisory Board Member to several implant companies.

President of the Fourth Army Medical University for Oral Implantology, Dr. Li graduated from the Fourth Military Medical Univeristy with degrees in Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has published more than 50 papers, including 11 SCI theses. Dr. Li is the Deputy Editor in Chief of the Ministry of Education, Graduate Students for Teaching.

Dr. Shin Jun Hyouk graduated from the Busan National University Dental College in 1998 and was an adjunct professor as well at the Dong-eui University for prosthodontics. Recently he has lectured on CAD/CAM & Esthetic Dentistry. He is currently the Academic Director of KADD (Korean Academy of Digitalized Dentistry in Busan) and Chief of CAD/CAM R&D CENTER in DIO Corporation. Dr. Shin is also the Chief of Moonjoong Dental Clinic.

Dr. Dennis P. Tarnow is currently Clinical Professor of Periodontology and Director of Implant Education at the Columbia School of Dental Medicine. He is the former Professor and Chairman of the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Tarnow is a recipient of the Master Clinician Award from the American Academy of Periodontology and the Teacher of the Year Award from the New York University. Dr. Tarnow has a private practice in New York City, and has been honored with a wing named after him at New York University College of Dentistry.

Dr. Masao Yamazaki received his DDS degree from the Tokyo Dental College in 1970. He is the Founder and the Director of the Society of Japan Clinical Dentistry. Dr. Yamazaki is also the author of The Esthetic Restorative Treatment - The Management For The Complex Prosthesis published by Quintessence Publishing Co. Dr. Yamazaki maintains a full-time private practice in Tokyo focusing on esthetic restorative dentistry and implant dentistry.

Dr. Toyokazu Chiba had his dental education from the Tohoku Dental College of Fukushima, Japan. He did his post-graduation from the Graduate School of Ohu University. Later on, he worked as an assistant of the second prosthetics lecture of Ohu University, and at the Harajuku Dental Office in Tokyo for three years. He opened his own dental clinic in the year 1997. Dr. Chiba is also a specialist of the Japan Prosthodontic Society, and a member of Japanese society of Periodontology.

Graduating from the Kyushu Dental University, Dr. Kamo is now the Section Director of Hokokai Group and the Director of Fukuoka Tenjin Medical & Dental Clinic. He is the clinical training instructor for dentistry at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Authorization. He entered as faculty in the Dental Science Division’s Oral Rehabilitation Section of Impant and Rehabilitative Dentistry of the Kyushu University.
